My future self letter

Dear Me,
Lockdown was fun and boring at the sametime as well. It was fun because I got to have more time to spend with my family and write
my recipe book and build lego too.

It was boring because we didn't go anywhere actually. I did go on some bike rides and running to practise for the dauthlon. I went to see the ducks with Freya and Leo and Joshua. I played board games like chess and twister too.

In the lock down I switch houses to Mum for a week then with dad for a week. When I came to dad’s they had a surprise for Me and Freya and Leo. They did a magic trick, and there was a dog under the blanket and his name was Jack.

In the lock down I did some baking with Mum. We made rice bubbles and white chocolate slice. I made chocolate cake with honeycomb maltesers on top. At my dad’s Freya made chocolate chip cookies.
In lock down my family went to see three week old German puppies, they were so cute it was Leo’s dream to see them. There were eleven puppies, there were supposed to be twelve puppies but one died.
The lady said that she had twelve but she lost the whole lot because she didn’t have any milk.

In the lock down when Jacinda Adern announced that we were going back to school I was so happy because I was missing everyone like my friends, school and my grandparents, cousins and uncles too.

Thanks Future me.

  3. Hi Mila,
I like your letter. It was very discriptive and really explained your lockdown. Its really cool that you are writing a recipe book maybe you could post that on your blog it sounds really cool! I bet it was boring being stuck in the house a lot it was boring for me to. Its so sad that one of the puppies died I guess your brother did not want to hear that. I agree with Lily your writing was all over the place next time you could bring it to the side by pressing ctrl shift V like beth said.
Thanks for sharing your lockdown with us.
