Kookaburras

This week we have been reading a report about a kookaburra. My goal was to recognise the different features and purposes of different text types. We had to create a poster about kookaburras. In my poster, I needed to include a picture and surround the picture with key words and brief summaries about those key words and main ideas from the text.

Do you have any facts that I don't know?

  1. Hi Mila,
Great job blogging about your reading task for the week. I love that you have given a good description about the task and included your goal. You have added some good information for people to read about kookaburras. I know that the noise they make sounds like an alarm clock. Have you ever seen a kookaburra before?

  2. Hi Mila,
Thanks for sharing your poster on the Kookaburra. You have done some great research and presented it with some lovely Kookaburra images. Did you know that the Australian Mens Hockey team are known as the Kookaburras?
